‘Children” Stock Becomes the Champion, AGRS-DGNS Drops!

Jakarta, CNBC IndonesiaShares of the listed company managing the hospital (RS) RSIA Bunda Jakarta PT Bundamedik Tbk (BMHS) and the company managing Matahari outlets belonging to the Lippo Group PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) became the winner in the first half of today’s trading, Friday (9/7/2021).

In a different fate, the shares of the banking listed company PT Bank IBK Indonesia Tbk (AGRS) and the clinical laboratory issuer PT Diagnos Laboratorium Utama Tbk (DGNS) must be willing to be ‘losers’.

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) managed to slightly strengthen until this afternoon. JCI rose 0.02% to 6,040,880 at the close of the first trading session, Friday (9/7).

Referring to IDX data, 180 stocks recorded gains, 276 stocks declined and 173 stocks remained stagnant, with transaction value reaching Rp 6.35 trillion and trading volume reaching 10.61 billion shares.

Foreign investors in the stock market left the country’s stock exchange with a record foreign net selling of Rp 106.52 billion in the regular market. Meanwhile, foreigners recorded a net purchase in the negotiating market and cash market of Rp 17.59 billion.

According to the data above, BMHS shares became the most soaring, namely: through 25% ARA to Rp 825/share. The transaction value of BMHS shares was very busy this afternoon, reaching Rp 723.2 billion, making this stock the stock with the highest transaction value above PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) which recorded transactions of Rp 462.4 billion.

This is also the highest BMHS share transaction value after the previous 3 days being in the range of hundreds of millions to one to 2 billions of rupiah.

With this, BMHS shares have soared by 142.64% since the first day of ‘gig’ on the stock exchange. The phenomenon of soaring stocks that have just made an initial public offering (IPO) is common in the stock exchange, until it hits the ARA for days on end.

For information, BMHS became the 24th issuer on the IDX and released 682 million or 7.93% of the issued and paid-up capital after the IPO with an offering price of Rp 340 per share. Thus, from this IPO, the company received funds of Rp. 231.88 billion.

In the second position, there was LPPF’s shares which shot up 9.92% to Rp 2,660/share. Before experiencing a correction since 2 days ago, LPPF shares had recorded a strengthening rally for 7 consecutive days, between 28 June to 6 July 2021.

In a week, LPPF shares jumped 34.34%, while in a month jumped 35.71%.

Meanwhile, AGRS shares slumped to touch the bottom auto rejection (ARB) of 6.67%, after enjoying a significant surge in the last 2 days. On Wednesday (7/7) AGRS shares rose 34.13%, while on Thursday (8/7) it slid in the green zone 20.54%.

The increase for the past 2 days stopped the correction trend for 17 consecutive days of AGRS shares, or during June 14 to June 6. In a week this stock rose 31.25%, while in a month it fell 46.38%

Then, DGNS shares plunged 5.47% again, after yesterday this stock also fell 3.76%. In a week DGNS shares have fallen 4.35%.
