– The emergency services were quickly on site, and the child was already picked up when we arrived, Bjerke says to TV 2.

Life-saving first aid has been provided on site. According to the task leader, the child will now be transported to hospital.

– It’s serious. The child was unconscious, but breathed himself, he says.

At present, the police are working to map out how long the child may have been underwater.

– Technical investigations have been made, and we believe we have done what is sufficient to shed light on the case, Bjerke says.

There should have been only one person involved in the incident.

At around 7 pm, both the fire brigade and the police finished work on the site.
