This is really no longer fun – children have placed objects on the train tracks in Baden-Württemberg.

A train in the Main-Tauber district was damaged by concrete slabs laid on the tracks.

Nobody was injured by the impact on Saturday, as the federal police announced on Monday.

Alerted police officers discovered three eight, nine and ten-year-old children near the railway line near Lauda-Königshofen, who, according to the investigations, are said to have placed the obstacles on the tracks.

The federal police station in Heilbronn is now investigating suspected dangerous interference in rail traffic. A spokesman for the federal police estimated the damage to the train at around 10,000 euros. / dpa
