Children lay down on the track at the Stamboliyski station, the third placed stones on the tracks. A citizen who witnessed the incident, saw a reporter on Facebook wrote about this Plovdiv24.bg.
“I want to ask if there is a policeman on duty at the station and where was he today at 3.30pm when the train was due to arrive? 3-4 boys between the ages of 12-14 were lying on the track and one of them was putting stones on the tracks.
The most surprising thing to me was that they all stood idly by and looked at them without even moving to make a remark. The good thing is that after I reacted, at least they removed the stones from the tracks, but they continued to lie like that, undisturbed by anything…
It’s even better that no trouble happened… because then we would still be asking ourselves who is to blame!
I secretly hope that one of the parents of these children reads this and thinks hard…”
Most of the people are outraged under the publication that there was no reaction from the security police. But they hope that this will be seen by the station’s permanent CCTV cameras and that the parents of these children will indeed be warned.
