After offering, last May, a container filled with medical equipment worth CFAF 400 million, to the regional hospital of Saint-Louis, the association of childhood friends of the SUD district (Sindoné) has handed over an ambulance with equipment to this health intuition.
Assistance aimed at recovering the dilapidated technical platform of the hospital. This pushes patients to go to other health structures in the city.
“This gesture stems from a diagnosis made by our health committee. “It is in line with the social actions we are carrying out,” said Abdourahmane SARR, the president of this organization.
“We met the various department heads to take stock of the needs,” added Mr. SARR. The director of the hospital welcomed a “gesture of high social significance” by indicating that the new ambulance “will strengthen the vehicle fleet”.
