In the village of Kuyalnitskaya territorial community of the Odessa region, two children, aged 9 and 13, broke a window and set fire to the house of a single father with many children. About this on Monday, September 27, reported in the National Police of the Odessa region.
Militiamen said that minors broke a window in someone else’s house and set fire to the sofa and curtains. The fire and the children themselves were noticed by a neighbor of the family and called rescuers.
After the minors were detained by the police, they said that they did it for fun.
According to the police, no one was in the house at the time of the arson, since the 36-year-old owner was in the hospital with his three-month-old baby. A 13-year-old girl and three boys, aged two to eight, were with relatives. The mother of the children has recently died.
The police opened proceedings under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to ten years). Since minors are involved in the crime, their parents will be responsible for this.
Earlier in the village of Ivanchanka, Bolgradsky district, Odessa region, 12-year-old the guy set fire to the church, no one was injured in the fire.
