For 3 years, Messenger Kids has been allowing children to connect with family and close friends in a space supervised by parents.
Facebook announced new Christmas-themed features to help kids get into the spirit of the season within the app.
Given the increase in COVID-19 cases and restrictions, this application has become the most important for minors as it allows children to keep in touch with their favorite aunt, their grandparents and other family members.
Chat with Santa Claus, send Christmas cards and more
The main addition this year is the option to chat with your child as if you were Santa Claus, parents can activate this messaging option and it will remain active until January 6 https://www.facebook.com/messengerkidssanta
Facebook also added customizable digital Christmas cards that parents and grandparents can send to children.
And of course they have renewed the stickers and filters that are favorites of the little ones. Each content has been reviewed by Facebook to make sure it is appropriate for children
What is Messenger Kids?
Messenger Kids is a family messaging app where kids can only connect with parent-approved contacts. The controlled environment makes it easy and fun for children to express themselves through video calls and messages.
How to create an account on Messenger Kids?
- Download the Messenger Kids app on your child’s phone or tablet.
- Authorize your child’s device by logging in with Facebook. (this will not create a Facebook account for you)
