– Two children have been found seriously injured outside an apartment block. We suspect that they have fallen from a great height. We can not rule out that something criminal has happened, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas to VG.
– We have initiated an investigation where we suspect attempted murder. Two people with a relationship to the children have been arrested, she adds.
She will not confirm that the arrested are the children’s parents.
Anonymous sources inform Expressen that a man and a woman have been arrested. The man is suspected of having injured the children before he threw them out, the newspaper writes, but adds that having this information has not been confirmed by the police.
Boström Thomas also does not want to comment on Swedish newspapers’ source information to VG.
The neighbors on the site are clearly affected, writes Aftonbladet.
“Such things should not happen,” a woman told the newspaper.
