Thanks to the Secretary of Planning and ICT portfolio led by Juan Pablo García Poveda, the children of the foundation had the opportunity to meet and interact with each of the rooms designed to have an unforgettable experience and learn more about science, technology and l ‘innovation, three important pillars for the ‘El Tolima nos Une’ government.
This rapprochement was fostered after a first field visit carried out by the Vision 20/50 collective which was attended by the children and adolescents of Concern, in which each of them told what their Tolima dream was like. “This kind of space allows children, from their economic and social point of view, to explore and make decisions about their future,” said Mauricio Montenegro, social educator at the foundation.

Joy and curiosity were two emotions present during the day, which is why Lizeth Oviedo, one of the little visitors, declared that “what I liked most was the robot in movement room 1, the bubbles and knowing how they were before the dinosaurs”, and assured that it was definitely an enriching experience.
Carlos Sánchez, ICT Director, highlighted the arduous work that the Secretariat is carrying out to reduce the technological gap and offer every day more opportunities for the people of Tolima to come, get to know and enjoy these spaces where science, technology and l innovation break down social barriers.
