They have the same objective in mind: to make Tonneins shine and remain faithful to their roots; and what’s more, they are childhood friends. Julien Mivielle and Anthony Lac have, throughout their professional lives, kept in touch to the point of collaborating occasionally or considering, one day, sharing the same commercial premises. The first launched his activity as a photographer in April 2021, specializing in reports (from Garorock to the magazine “La Vie Économique du Sud-Ouest”) while taking some portraits and identity photos.
“After a complicated first year, I owe a lot to Val de Garonne Agglomération and its tourist office. They quickly became loyal customers, ordering many photos from me for their events. Associated with professional clients such as the Hôtel de Tonneins, the Sdis, the Fédération des Véhicules Anciens, it is a business which works mainly thanks to word of mouth. » Without forgetting the recent fame due to his talents as a storm photographer who saw his photos broadcast on TV.

His friend Anthony Lac is a jack-of-all-trades passionate about design, creation and new technologies; both creator and manager of websites, communications manager and creator of the Awai brand of personalized objects and t-shirts. Little typically Toninquaise phrases, special rugby collection, film poster: the creations are varied and in a desire to diversify even more, he now offers posters of the best photos of his friend Julien.
“It happened naturally and stemmed from an initial request from Anthony to list my services as a photographer on his site. We then thought about these posters that some Tonneinquais already have at home,” explain Julien and Anthony. “We have made a limited selection in different formats and the stock will be renewed regularly on awai-store.com ».
