“Great news ! At 3 am, we welcomed the arrival of a new member in our family. I hadn’t planned to ride a bike at all when I started labor, but it did. My contractions weren’t very strong when we left at 2 a.m. to go to the hospital – although they were happening every 2 or 3 minutes and were gaining in intensity when we got there after ten minutes. (…) And now we have a healthy, happy, sleeping child like her daddy. I feel lucky to have been so well supervised by a wonderful medical team for what turned out to be a rapid birth (fortunately without complications)“, wrote the happy mom on her Instagram account.
For the birth of her first child recalls the Huffington Post, a boy who is now 3 years old, Julie Anne Genter had already taken her bike to go to the maternity ward on the day of its outbreak. She wrote on the social network: “Wonderful Sunday morning for a bike ride, towards the hospital, to induce labor and finally have this baby.“
