A medical source in an Egyptian hospital revealed that the child, Shenouda, lost consciousness after his adoptive parents received him.
The “Cairo 24” website indicated that the child, Shenouda, had a health condition that led to his loss of consciousness as a result of the high temperature, and he was transferred to the Virgin Mary Hospital in Zeitoun, to check on his health.
The family of the child, Shenouda, held a press conference to talk about the details of his receipt, after the decision of the investigation authorities.
Mrs. Amal, Shenouda’s adoptive mother, announced that Shenouda had received the child from a care home affiliated to the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Counselor Najeeb Gabriel, head of the Human Rights Organization, and the lawyer for the adopted child’s family, Shenouda, announced that Shenouda’s adopted child’s first name would not be changed and that it would remain the same.
