Child seriously injured in collision with Kerkdriel primary school | Inland

The police write on Twitter that the first search was for a truck. It later emerged that the young child had been hit by a car with a trailer.

The child was taken to hospital by ambulance and under police escort. A police spokesman said it was a very serious accident. Emergency services rushed out en masse and the trauma helicopter has also landed. Police have launched a neighborhood investigation and hope to find out through CCTV footage how the incident could have happened.
