A child was seriously injured this afternoon after falling from the window of a house in Amsterdam. Police are still investigating whether it was an accident or a crime.
According to a report from the fire service, the child fell out of the window on the fourth floor around 4:15 p.m., writes NH News. That happened on the Bos en Lommerweg in the capital. In addition to an ambulance, a trauma helicopter was also called.
The child was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police have not disclosed the age of the child. A spokesman only wants to say that it is a “very small child”.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
