Child Month: the status of the child, assess it, decide, support it

Meet on November 19 at the Gironde building in Bordeaux for a day dedicated to the status of the child. This day, aimed at all professionals involved in child protection, will consider the status of the child in the service of his journey and his life project. Free, upon registration.

This day aims to provide professionals with precise knowledge on the different statuses of the child, in order to give them tools to evaluate and think about the status most suited to the child’s needs. This, from the moment they enter the child protection system and as closely as possible to their needs throughout their journey.

It is therefore intended to enlighten professionals on the educational issues linked to status, to open up perspectives and possibilities, in particular through the evaluation and mobilization of resource people in the child’s environment, beyond if necessary placement and/or maintenance of the parent-child bond.
