A three-year-old girl fell from the fifth floor on Wednesday March 29 in the early afternoon. It was 1:45 p.m. when the tragedy occurred, rue de Gascogne, in the Metz district of Borny.
At that time, her mother was taking care of her twin sister when the little victim would have escaped maternal vigilance. For an undetermined reason, she would have climbed on an object which allowed her to gain height to the point of passing through the window, in front of which there was a mosquito net before falling into the void.
Committed vital prognosis
The firefighters and the Smur took charge of the little victim who was medicalized on the spot before being transported, by road, to the children’s hospital at the Nancy-Brabois University Hospital. On the spot, the police officers of the departmental security carried out the usual findings with a view to the investigation entrusted to them by the juvenile prosecutor’s office. The state of the little victim inspired great concern while his vital prognosis was engaged. The track of an accident is privileged.
