Köln A former swimming coach has been sentenced to imprisonment at the Cologne Regional Court for serious sexual abuse of children. The man has to go to prison for more than three years. He had abused two brothers.
A former swimming coach has been sentenced to imprisonment at the Cologne Regional Court for serious sexual abuse of children. The 38-year-old is to be imprisoned for three years and six months, a court spokeswoman said on Wednesday. The verdict was issued on Tuesday after four days of hearings.

The public prosecutor had accused the former youth director of having carried out sexual acts on children from his swimming club or having them carried out on him. He committed the crimes between 2011 and 2014. In the process, the man basically admitted the crimes.
