On Saturday, a child (7) fell out of the window of an apartment building Gelsenkirchen several meters deep into the courtyard. A rescue helicopter then transported the child to a nearby hospital. It is said to have been seriously injured in the fall.

Around noon, the Gelsenkirchen fire brigade was called for a rescue operation on Küppersbuschstrasse. A seven-year-old fell out of a window on the third floor and was seriously injured.

Family members collapsed during the mission and were looked after by an emergency minister. An ambulance also took her to a nearby hospital a short time later.
