Chihuahua.- Chihuahua civil society and business organizations showed their support for the decision of Governor Maru Campos not to distribute the new free textbooks in the state, prepared by the Government of the Republic.
Through a display addressed to Andrés Manuel López Obrador, they demonstrated against the new educational model and indicated that they will maintain their defense for this cause.
The document entitled “Reply to the President” was signed by at least 50 business organizations, chambers and civil society associations.
They reiterated that they disagree with the content of the books, since they consider that more than knowledge and learning, they contain a “heavy load of unacceptable ideological indoctrination.”
“We are convinced that using them would lead to a strong setback, since they have serious formal and substantive errors such as the promotion of class struggle, a pedagogical deficit with confusing topics for children, errors and pettiness such as the reduction of mathematics and sciences”, reveal the writing.
Likewise, the document includes that there is an induced sexual education, an issue that should only be addressed by parents and be a right.
He believes that Chihuahuan families want their children a true quality education that allows them to integrate into the modern world, with faculties that open the doors to better opportunities.
