Reid also participated in a meeting with active duty military members and their families during the event in partnership with the USO, continuing the Chiefs’ commitment to honoring our armed forces at home and abroad.

These efforts followed the Chiefs’ victory over the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt last November, which was preceded by a series of events and celebrations across Germany, from a fan event in downtown Frankfurt to a visit to nearby Ramstein Air Base.

In addition, the Chiefs will continue to run international channels aimed specifically at Spanish- and German-speaking fans, as Kansas City aims to bring the excitement of professional football to people around the globe in their respective languages.

With that goal in mind, the Chiefs launched a documentary series on July 27 called “Viva Chiefs Kingdom,” which follows 12 fans from five cities in Mexico during the 2023-24 postseason. The series seeks to show the emotional journey of fans who witnessed the Chiefs’ path to their second consecutive championship.

The project was in collaboration with Samba Digital, the Chiefs’ digital and social media agency in Mexico. The series follows fans from different walks of life, including podcasters, the leader of a popular Chiefs Facebook group and a woman who shares her passion for the Chiefs with her family and friends.

Every fan has a different story to tell, but they all share a love for the Chiefs. The first episode of the two-part series can be viewed here. The second part of the series will be released worldwide on August 3.
