The attorney general will make a statement for the first time since his resignation was called for

Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev has gathered all his deputies, NOVA learned. It is expected at 10:00 a.m. that prosecutor number 1 will make a statement for the first time after Prime Minister nominee Maria Gabriel, followed by six members of the Prosecution College of the Supreme Judicial Council, requested his early removal.

Ivan Geshev returned from the States on Saturday night, and today he is scheduled to leave for Portugal. The procedure for his removal begins once he receives the documents requesting his release.
