Head 120 Makassar Battalion M. Rusdi was arrested by the police in connection with the attack and vandalism of a hotel in the city of Makassar. Rusdi has now been released after the hotel withdrew the police report.
As reported detikSulsel, Sunday (20/11/2022), Rusdi was arrested at Maleo Hotel, Rappocini, Makassar, on Friday (18/11) at around 03.15am WITA. Two of his colleagues, Muhammad Ilham and Hendra Irawan, were also arrested.
AKP police chief Rappocini Muhammad Yusuf explained that initially Rusdi was involved in a commotion with an employee named Syamsuddin in front of a convenience store not far from the hotel. Rusdi was then taken to the hotel by the man.
Rusdi also managed to escape from the hotel and called his two colleagues. Rusdi then returned to the hotel to find the man.
Rusdi then vandalized because the man he was looking for was not on site. Rusdi then damaged the hotel reception desk for chasing Syamsudin’s valet.
The head of the 120 Makassar Battalion, M Rusdi, was later released. Police said M. Rusdi and the hotel had reconciled.
