Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Publicly Criticizes Thomas Chazhikadan MP at Nava Kerala Audience Event

Pala – Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan publicly criticized Thomas Chazhikadan MP on the stage of Navakerala audience. Thomas Chazhikadan started the welcome speech with the introduction that three things are presented as Pala’s needs. Chazhikadan raised the demands of increasing the support price of rubber, renovation of Pala municipal stadium and completion of Cherpunkal bridge.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s speech expressed displeasure at this. From the Chief Minister’s words: ‘The entire country has come to understand why this program was organized. But there is one person who presents our things here first. He has no idea why he is organizing this. It has its own presentation here. He was heard saying as if we were out to receive complaints.

Complaints are only a part of this. It’s not about receiving complaints. Complaints are always given when ministers leave. This is to present the problems facing our country to the people. The discrimination shown by the Center against Kerala needs to be brought before the people. At the same time, where has our country reached and what has to be done in the future. It should also be presented.

It was presented without adequate understanding. The honorable Chazhikadan also does not think that it has been adequately understood. It was unfortunate.’ The Chief Minister ended the speech by saying that what Chazhikadan and others said will be considered later and the audience does not intend to say anything about that and therefore will not go into that part.

As soon as he started the welcome speech, Minister Roshi Augustine came to Chazhikadan and told him to shorten the speech. With that, Chazhikadan ended his speech by welcoming everyone. The Chief Minister’s response was made while ministers and MP Jose K. Mani were present on the stage. Jose K. Mani, in his presidential speech, demanded that the support price for rubber be raised to Rs.200.
