Thiruvananthapuram: Navakerala Sadas will tour Thiruvananthapuram district today. In the morning, a morning meeting and a press conference of the Chief Minister are scheduled to take place at the Mama Puja Convention Center at Atingal. Chirayankeez, Attingal, Vamanapuram and Nedumangad constituencies
The Nava Kerala Sadas tour of Thiruvananthapuram district is for three days. In view of the possibility of protest, heavy security has been prepared in the district. Youth Congress and KSU activists showed black flags to the Chief Minister on his way back from the New Kerala conference in Varkala, which led to a clash.
KSU will hold a march in the capital today to protest the police brutality against those protesting against the Nava Kerala Sadas. KSU demands action against the Chief Minister’s gunman who beat up the protesters. The march is scheduled for 10:00. Security has been beefed up in and around the police headquarters as the march is taking place.
