The comedy film from studios Aardman, Pathé and StudioCanal will be released on Netflix on December 15 – 23 years after the release of the first part.

The plot of “Chicken Run 2” will continue the story of Ginger the hen and Rocky the rooster, who, after the events of the original, found the perfect place to live – a bird sanctuary on the island. The idyll of the main characters begins to crumble after they again encounter the sinister Mrs. Tweedy.
The director of the sequel is Sam Fell, known for the cartoons “The Adventures of Despero” and “Paranorman, or How to Train Your Zombies.” The sequel was written by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O’Farrell and Rachel Tunnard.
The main characters of the film were voiced by well-known actors. Among them: Tandive Newton, Zachary Levi, Bella Ramsay, David Bradley, Imelda Staunton, as well as Peter Serafinowicz and Miranda Richardson.
The animated film will be released on the Netflix streaming service on December 15. In 2024, the next cartoon about Wallace and Gromit, which is also produced by the Aardman studio, should appear in the online cinema.
