If you’ve been a Chick-fil-A customer and ordered food through their website, the popular restaurant chain may owe you money.
Residents of New York, New Jersey and three other states are eligible to receive compensation as part of a settlement from Chick-fil-A following a lawsuit for allegedly advertising free or low-cost delivery ($2.99 or $3.99) on its mobile app. and website that actually had “hidden” charges.
Although the company denies any wrongdoing, it has agreed to pay $4.4 million in the settlement.
This would be a payment of $29.25 per person. However, the money could be reduced depending on the number of people who apply for the agreement.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Residents of California, Florida, Georgia, New York and New Jersey who placed orders on the Chick-fil-A app or website between November 1, 2019 and April 30, 2021 can claim the money.
Eligible customers should have received an email from the settlement administrator, according to the claim page.
People will receive the money in cash or in the form of gift cards.

The deadline to do so is February 15.
