Chicago’s Riverwalk Reopens Friday

Chicago.- To maintain health measures to prevent coronavirus infections, people who visit the Chicago Riverwalk, which reopens as of today, will be required to practice social distancing and wear masks.

Chicago’s Riverwalk reopens to the public for use by residents and visitors beginning Friday, according to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

The city will begin a gradual approach to reopening providers, allowing full service at the end of May, according to Lightfoot’s office.

Groups will be limited to 10 people and customers must remain seated, authorities said.

The three businesses that already start serving customers from Friday are: City Winery, Island Party Hut y Beat Kitchen on the River. Another ten companies will reopen every week or so.
