Forest fires affecting the northwest of the country and parts of Canada will be causing haze over the area.

Until tonight: Also due to smoke from the fires, Northwest Indiana will be on a poor air quality alert until midnight. Temperatures tonight will drop to 66 degrees.
A cold front will cross the area this afternoon and night causing strong winds and a significant drop in temperatures.

Tomorrow: For Wednesday the forecast indicates much cooler temperatures. The highs on Wednesday will be hovering in the mid 70’s. Also strong winds will cause high and dangerous waves. Typical summer temperatures return to the forecast as of Thursday.
The rest of the week it looks hot and humid with slight chances of rain.
