Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the city will remove its mask-wearing mandate for most settings, as well as its vaccination-testing mandate for closed restaurants, bars and other establishments beginning Monday, reflecting a renewed hope of normalcy in the city as COVID-19 cases continue to drop from alarming levels.
