Chicago officially SIGNED 20 players

The Chicago White Sox signed agreements in a massive way this Friday, February 24, 2023, by concluding a contract with a total of 20 players to complete in one fell swoop the legal stay of the players who are on the roster of 40 of the franchise.

According to a White Sox press release, the following twenty players signed on Friday morning:

Receptors (2): Carlos Perez and Seby Zavala

Infielders (6): Jake Burger, Romy Gonzalez, Bryan Ramos, José Rodríguez, Lenyn Sosa and Andrew Vaughn

Gardeners (1): Gavin Sheets

Pitchers (11): A.J. Alexy, Nick Avila, Tanner Banks, Garrett Crochet, Matt Foster, Frank German, Jimmy Lambert, Davis Martin, Nick Padilla, Gregory Santos y Jonathan Stiever

The White Sox will debut on Saturday the 25th in Spring Training, hosting the San Diego Padres at home, in a day that will mark the first performance of most Major League teams.

Chicago comes from a disappointing season, because despite having a roster full of stars, between rookies and veterans, they only managed to play for .500, with 81 wins and 81 losses, 11 complete games away from Cleveland, winner of the Central Division of the American League.
