Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tests positive for covid-19 this holiday season

Chicago.-Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said on Friday that she has tested positive for covid-19.

Lori Lightfoot released a statement on social media in which she indicated she had no symptoms, which she attributed to the coronavirus vaccination.

Lightfoot will be working from home, following public health guidelines for self-isolation.

This is a reminder to get your vaccine and booster this holiday season to keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy, said Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

In January 2022, Lightfoot announced in a statement that he had contracted covid-19 and that his symptoms were similar to a cold.
