The musical comedy Chicago will return to New York on September 14, 2021 at the Ambassador Theater.
This show, which has become a real New York institution, hopes to be able to celebrate its 25 years of existence on stage next November.
Chicago has all the elements of a great Broadway show: the pursuit of fame and fortune against a backdrop of jazz. This revival was rewarded with 6 Tony Awards, 2 Olivier Awards and 1 Grammy Award.
Currently, the musical is also performed at Daesung D-Cube Arts Center in Seoul. A UK tour is planned from September. Productions in Brazil and China are scheduled for 2022.
Chicago is a dive into the eponymous city of the 1920s. We follow the story of young Roxie Hart, the murderer of her lover who threatened to leave her. Imprisoned, she will use her crime to talk about her and escape the gallows.
