Chiara Ferragni (36) is world-famous. The Italian beauty actually has everything: a dream figure, a famous husband (Fedez, 34) and two sweet children. And soon there will be more than a million euros less in the account. Because the influencer has to pay.
That’s what she reports Italian competition authority AGCM. The reason: When Chiara’s specially designed cake was marketed, the impression was created that a purchase would make donations for children with cancer go to a hospital in Turin.

But why did her almost 30 million followers even come up with the idea that the cake was for a good cause?
On the one hand, the Pandoro cake cost a whopping nine euros, while customers normally don’t even have to pay four euros for one. According to the Italian competition authority, press releases, the packaging and the advertising that Chiara herself did also showed that money from the proceeds would go to the hospital in Turin.

“I have always believed that those who are luckier in life have a moral responsibility to do good. These are the values that have always driven me and my family,” Chiara Ferragni begins her Instagram post and admits that she has made mistakes.
