Last year Chiara Ferragni announced the will to to donate the entire compensation for participation in the Sanremo Festival to the association D.i.R.e (Women online against violence). Last year the DiRe association should have received the entire amount sum of the fee to help women who suffer abuse or other forms of gender violence.

L’DiRe association took Chiara Ferragni’s side and wanted to confirm the arrival of the sum of the cachet with an official note Sanremo Festivalas promised.
The press note states that, after the publication of articles that questioned theactual donationthe disbursement not only arrived, but “was allocated to the development of job desks in 16 anti-violence centers of the DiRe Network”.

Chiara Ferragni is accused of aggravated fraud
The proof of the arrival of the money is a bank transfer from TBS Crew Srl, dated 12/01/2023, worth 150 thousand euros. If this were enough proof ofcommunication error (as Chiara Ferragni said in the apology video) it is not yet possible to establish it for the Balocco case.
Meanwhile the Financial Police filed a report on the Balocco affair, with the hypothesis of fraud and aggravated fraud and not commercial fraud as initially believed.
