Raigarh. Police have arrested 3 people, including a woman, in connection with the murder of an elderly woman in Diyagarh village under Lailunga police station area of Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Gun, country katta and motorcycle have been seized from the accused in the case. Police said that the murder was carried out due to family enmity and personal enmity that had been going on for many years. The whole matter is that on the night of May 17-18, at around 2:30 pm, the Lailunga police received information about firing in village Diyagarh, in which a woman was killed. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. On taking stock of the spot and on the information received from the villagers, the woman died due to bullet injury.
Regarding the incident, Hariram Yadav, son of the deceased Durpati Yadav, told that his old family enmity is going on with Gopal Yadav, who lives right in front of his house. Gopal Yadav lives in Odisha hiding from the police and whom he saw in the village last night. As usual, the mother (Durpati) was sleeping outside the house in the shed and everyone was asleep inside the house. There was a loud sound between 02:00-2:30 in the night, when he came out, he saw that the mother was lying dead on the cot. During this, two boys were seen running on a Pulsar motorcycle, who were Gopal Yadav and his nephew Keshav Yadav, who lived in front of the house.

Accused Gopal Yadav told that on the day of the incident, he ran away with his nephew Keshav Yadav and went to his sister Lakshmi Yadav’s house in Gerwani and left a loaded gun there. Lakshmi gave the key to her in-laws Sarangijhariya’s house, then Gopal went to Orissa Sarangijhariya and hid. After Laxmi Yadav’s involvement in the crime was found, she was also taken into custody, after which the entire conspiracy of the murder was exposed.
