LOS ANGELES — Cheyenne Knight dodged the bogeys in a round of 67 (under-4) on Saturday and leads by two shots after three rounds at the LA Championship at Wilshire Country Club.
Knight finds himself at 9-under after 54 holes.
She wedged a 20-foot putt for an eagle on the par-5 13th hole and added a birdie on the par-4 17th hole for 33 on the back nine.
South Korea’s Hae Ran Ryu also had a round of 67 and tied for second with Hannah Green, who had a score of 69. Knight and Green are the only two players to have three rounds under 70 in Wilshire.
Green was plus-3 for her round after 12 holes, but she finished strong with five birdies in her final six holes.
Quebecer Maude-Aimée Leblanc scored 71. She is tied for 39th at plus-1.
