JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Chery Motor Indonesia has officially returned to the Indonesian market with a variety of new strategies and commitments. This certainty was revealed at the 2022 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) exhibition.
However, in his debut, the manufacturer automotive from China it has not sold or done launching flagship product at all. The products that were present at the exhibition were only an illustration of Chery’s plans for Indonesia.
“The emphasis on this opportunity is our official statement, namely Chery to return to the Indonesian market with a new strategy,” said Tao Yong, President Director of PT Chery Motor Indonesia, Thursday (31/3/2022).

“We haven’t sold because it’s new brand launching. But, bring all the products that will be launched and sold in Indonesia here (IIMS 2022), “he continued.
As for Chery’s official sales activities, it will be carried out soon as product launchingin Indonesia, which is allegedly soon.
The first products they will market are the Chery Tiggo Pro 7 and the Chery Tiggo Pro 8 as sport utility vehicle (SUV) taste of family car.
“We start selling when we have done launching. The plan is that at the end of June we will launching for the Tiggo series,” he said.

Even so, in this IIMS event, Chery welcomes consumers who want to place an order for the two models.
“We have accepted that there are consumers who want to pivot. However, we will still inform potential customers that launching products in June 2022,” he said again.
