Singer Cher has admitted to being on the fan’s side regarding the controversy surrounding Britney Spears’ tutelage. The interpreter of “Toxic” has yet to entrust his personal and financial affairs to his father Jamie Spears more than ten years after the start of this tutelage, and like the #FreeBritney movement, Cher thinks it would be high time to the star to stand on its own two feet.
In interview with PA, she said: “I think her father should step aside and let her live his life. I think she paid the price for it for quite a long time.
Recently, Britney took to her fans directly on her Instagram account to assure them that she is doing very well despite the rumors.
She said: “I am so happy to see a world full of empathy and to see people worrying about my life … what can I say? I am FLATTED !!!”
Last month, Britney finally mentioned the documentary “Framing Britney”, the shock documentary that made the buzz at the beginning of the year by exploring the tutelage under which she has lived since 2008, but also the media pressure of which she was a victim in during his illustrious but tumultuous career.
On Instagram, the “Toxic” singer did share her thoughts on this highly controversial feature film, and she didn’t have all the nice things to say.
“We have always speculated a lot about my life, I have always been scrutinized, judged … all my life, really,” she wrote on Instagram. “I have been exposed all my life, performing in front of an audience. It takes strength to confide in the universe your true vulnerability, because I have always been judged, insulted, the media embarrassed me and it continues to this day. The world continues to turn, life goes on, and we remain so fragile and sensitive. I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I saw, I was embarrassed by the way which I am brought to light. I cried for two weeks… I still cry today sometimes. I do what I can with my own spirituality, and I try to keep my joy, my love, my happiness. ”
Many fans, however, expressed doubts about Britney writing those words herself.
