Cher Accused of Hiring Men to Forcefully Remove Son from Hotel

American actress and singer Cher was accused of having hired four men to forcibly remove her eldest son Elijah Blue Allman from a New York hotel while he was celebrating his wedding anniversary night with his wife.

According to the court documents revealed by the specialized portal Variety, the accusations were made on December 4, 2021 by Allman’s ex-wife, Marie Angela King, before the Los Angeles Superior Court, but were only made public these days from couple’s ongoing divorce case.

In the presentation, the current ex-wife of Cher’s eldest son claims that they had both committed to working on their marriage after the artist asked Allman to leave the family home.

Before the alleged kidnapping, Elijah and Marie spent 12 days alone in New York prior to celebrating their anniversary. On November 30, 2021, the couple was enjoying their privacy when “four people entered the room” and “forcibly removed” the young man.

“After spending these 12 days together in New York… four people came to our hotel room and took us out. [Allman] from our room,” King stated in the file. And then he added: “One of the four men who took him told him that they were hired by his (Cher) mother.”

On more than one occasion, Elijah Blue Allman spoke about his stormy fight against drugs, an issue that haunted his family for decades. In some interviews, the pop singer referred to everything from her own father’s heroin consumption to Elijah’s father’s addictions.

“I currently do not know the well-being or whereabouts of my husband. “I am very concerned and worried about him,” the complainant said in December of last year. In the end, she added: “Since August 2022, I have been told that I cannot see or speak to him and that he is currently locked up in a treatment center that has not been disclosed to me. They also told me that he does not have access to his phone.”
