Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan provides update on MS Dhoni’s future

He was responding to Crick Bus after Chennai’s last ham game of the 2023 season.

“Dhoni has not told us anything about retirement. I personally think he will play next year as well. Has played well so far and led the team well,’ said Viswanathan.

Meanwhile, Dhoni made his debut in the first IPL in 2008. Dhoni has played 246 matches in his IPL career so far and has scored 5,076 runs at an average of 39.35. He has 24 fifties and his highest IPL score is 84*.
