Chemotherapy at home: ‘This is just the beginning of the possibilities of home care’ – Stax & Toine

Cancer patients who no longer need to go to hospital for chemotherapy, but can simply stay at home. Two home care organizations in Amsterdam and Haarlem have recently started offering this care, together with the Spaarne Gasthuis and Zilveren Kruis. ‘This provides more space in the hospital and more flexibility and comfort for the patients’, says Susan van Os, of Amstelring Wijkzorg Amstelveen in Stax&Toine.
