Two young Chemnitz athletes are currently in action for the German national team, namely in cricket. The volleyball game is also operated at the USG Chemnitz under the direction of Deep Prakash. Abdul Samad Stanikzai and Shravya Kolcharam have been members of the association since 2019. Shravya also serves as coordinator for the national association. The 27-year-old, who came to Chemnitz as a student, is playing a tournament in Rwanda with the women’s national team until June 18. 19-year-old Abdul Samad had already been nominated for the U19 selection in 2020 and 2021 and will now appear for the senior national team at the tournament in Krefeld for the first time until Sunday.
