Séché Environnement is looking for a chemical engineer specializing in heat treatment for its Research Center.

Your missions:
Reporting to the Research and Development Director, your mission will be to improve waste treatment and / or recycling processes, explore new areas for eco-development in the field of hazardous or non-hazardous waste and support technical requirements of the Research and Development department. This application-oriented and multidisciplinary position aims to meet the technical and economic expectations of all of the Company’s subsidiaries and partners.
Your daily missions will be as follows:
• In collaboration with the Operators of the sites concerned (France and International), participate in the development of activities related to the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from conventional industry.
• Provide technical expertise in the field of thermal treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, on the behavior of pollutants in the treatment of fumes and in the associated modeling processes.
• Manage laboratory tests and trials of new products / processes in order to validate their industrialization, all in compliance with regulatory constraints
• Write the supports, technical documentation and reports relating to these tests
• Participate, if necessary, in the development of the industrial phase in conjunction with the Company’s Technical Department.
• Be a source of proposals to your hierarchy by identifying the needs of the requesting centers and establishing specifications relating to their issues.

Profile:
With a Bac + 5 Chemistry training, specializing in thermal treatment by incineration and associated material and energy recovery processes, you are a confirmed engineer and have 3 years of professional experience in the field of waste. Your curiosity and your skills in computing and modeling thermodynamic processes will be appreciated. Knowledge of the waste recovery and treatment technologies professions would be a plus. Mastery of English is indispensable.
