In a strategic move, Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with New England Revolution for the transfer of Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrović, for a fee of 16 million euros.

The goalkeeper, who has worked wonders in the American League, is expected at Chelsea to undergo medical tests on Wednesday.
