Chelsea’s Senegalese Striker Nicolas Jackson Admits Faults, Promises Improvement Next Season

Even if I scored 10 or 15 goals, the most important thing is that the team performs as well as possible and that the supporters are happy. Then come the goals”he said.

Number 9 in the youngest team in the Premier League (average age 23.6 years), Nico Jackson, however, says he is optimistic for the next season. “I try to improve every day. The most important thing is to be available for the team, to help them and to play. I miss a lot of things, but I try to create more opportunities and achieve more goals. (…) This season has been dedicated to learning. We have experienced. Next season, for sure, it will be better. I will score more goals and make more assists. But I’m happy to be here with the manager helping me. We want to win as many titles as possible to put Chelsea where they deserve to be.”, he said positively. A hope shared by his trainer Mauricio Pochettino who told him recently renew his confidence.
