Chelsea’s New Offer for Moisés Caicedo: Will it be Enough to Secure the Transfer?

The novel between Moisés Caicedo and Chelsea continues. Now, the blues are preparing another offer for the Ecuadorian midfielder. Brighton don’t want to part with one of the best players on their team, so they won’t agree to sell him for less than $130 million.

However, Chelsea keep expectations high with this new offer for Caicedo. The London club received extra money from the transfer of player Tino Livramento from Southampton to Newcastle.

Chelsea benefits from this contract, since they will receive 50% of their signing, an important income for the club that can be used to increase the quota to take it to Moisés Caicedo, one of the players Mauricio Pochettino wants for his team.

“Newcastle United have reached an agreement to sign Tino Livramento from Southampton for a value of 35 million pounds sterling ($38 million),” published The Telegraph.

Chelsea, with this income, will offer 115 million for the transfer of Moisés Caicedo, a figure that is below what Brighton is asking for, however, from the leadership of the blues there is optimism to stay with the Ecuadorian.

“Chelsea are cautious on spending, but they were already prepared to shell out 90m for Caicedo and after a transfer windfall they can get the ultimate goal from manager Mauricio Pochettino,” the transfer outlet Express notes.
