During Sunday, the center back general Thiago Silva was in place when the British Grand Prix started at Silverstone. Then he ran into Roma star Paulo Dybala – who had traveled to England to also watch Formula 1 on site.
Thiago Silva reveals that he put in a charm offensive to lure the Argentine, who has been linked with Chelsea, to Stamford Bridge next season.
– I saw Paulo Dybala here. They talk about him at Chelsea. I hope he comes, the Chelsea defender told Sky Sports.
– I spoke to him and asked if he is coming. He answered me, but I cannot tell you what he said.
Silva continues:
– I would really like him to become a Chelsea player, that is a top player. It would help the team a lot.
Paulo Dybala’s contract with Roma runs until the summer of 2025. In the 29-year-old’s agreement, however, there is a buyout clause of 10.6 million pounds (corresponding to just under 148 million Swedish kronor) which is valid for foreign clubs.
In total, there were 18 goals and eight assists in 38 games in the Roma jersey last season for the Argentine.
