On Tuesday, January 30, Chelsea Women will play their last game of the group stage of the Women’s Champions League. And on this occasion, those led by Emma Hayes traveled to French territory to face Paris FC.
Of course, the team that recently hired Colombian forward Mayra Ramírez will have the advantage of starting the match with guaranteed qualification for the next round of this soccer tournament.
“It will be a very important game for us. We know the qualities of the rival team and we are clear that they will come out from the first minute with the intention of winning. We will focus on the small details to continue progressing. We respect our opponents and we know that they will have the support of many fans,” Hayes said about Paris FC in dialogue with the media.
Then, he emphasized that his pupils are used to competing with the presence of an opposing public.
“We have already played in Paris, we know what it is like to play with the presence of fans from another team and we are clear about the ‘atmosphere’ that will be felt in the stadium,” he added.
