Emma Ruth Rundle got together last year with Thou to conceive both «May Our Chambers Be Full», a wonderful collaborative album cataloged as one of the best albums of 2020 for the staff of our humble website, as well as «The Helm of Sorrow», an EP with four songs materialized in those same recording sessions. Exploiting new creative synergies, Emma Ruth Rundle is once again drawing attention today by posting ‘Anhedonia’, song that has linked her to Chelsea Wolfe, flagship of the Sargent House label. At least for the moment it is unknown if this single will be part of a new, mestizo album.
Unlike Emma with Thou, this new collaboration has not caught us so off guard. The reason lies in the past: about a year ago, the two exponents of death gospel announced that they were going to tour together in Australia and New Zealand, so the contact was already there.
