Chelsea will reportedly seek to “complete” the signing of “modern Dynamo Moscow captain” Arsene Zakharian in January.
The Blues were interested in signing Zakharian in the summer after following his lead for some time.

The 19-year-old played an impressive campaign for the Russian national team in 2021-22, contributing nine goals and nine assists in all competitions.
Zakharian’s agent Pavel Andreev confirmed that the deal to join Chelsea was close last month, saying, “That’s true. The deal is close.”
But the Blues were unable to secure the deal in a frantic transfer window for new owner Todd Boehle, which saw the club spend more than £ 250m on seven new additions.
Some of these engagements, including Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei, signal a ploy by the new owners to look to the future as well as the present, and Zakharian will stick to that policy.
